Collectie: Bally

Replacement boards for Bally and Stern pinball machines from 1977 to 1985. When the MPU board of your Bally or Stern fails — no boot, garbled display, stuck game or battery corrosion — our BallyFA board brings it back to life and keeps it dependable for decades.

The BallyFA MPU replacement

The BallyFA is a modern FPGA board that replaces the original MPU of Bally and Stern solid-state machines built between 1977 and 1985. It supports sought-after titles such as Xenon, Centaur, Eight Ball Deluxe, KISS, Playboy, Mata Hari from Bally, and Meteor, Nine Ball, Big Game from Stern, among many others.

Why choose a modern board?

The BallyFA is Plug & Play: it mounts on the original brackets and connectors without soldering, in a few minutes, and runs without a battery — goodbye corrosion and lost scores. The original ROMs are interpreted in an FPGA for gameplay identical to the era, with no software emulation. True Freeplay is available while your coin mechanism keeps working normally.
