Effortless Installation and Setup

Fitting the GottFA80 board is as simple as it gets. Designed to match the same connectors and the same mounting holes as the original Gottlieb System80 MPUs, swapping out your old board takes only a few minutes. Fine-tune your setup further with the dip switch settings:

• S2-Dip1 -> Freeplay. Set to "ON", GottFa enables "Freeplay" mode. Holding the credit button down for five seconds simulates inserting a coin.
• S2-Dip2 -> NVRAM reset. Set to "ON", GottFa clears the NVRAM to zero at boot for the selected game. This is useful if you want to wipe all RAM contents (recommended the first time you boot the game).
• S2-Dip3 -> Slam Open. Set to "ON", the Slam switch is simulated as "open" (required on later 80B games).
• S2-Dip4 -> Slam Closed. Most System80 games need the Slam switch closed and will not boot if it is open. Set to "ON", the Slam switch is simulated as "closed" regardless of its actual state.
