GottFA80_Plus V2 — Light version (no sound)

All-in-one replacement CPU board for Gottlieb System 80 and 80A pinball machines (partial System 80B support). The GottFA80_Plus replaces the MPU + Driver + power supply in a single Plug & Play board, with true Freeplay and the original Gottlieb ROMs interpreted directly in the FPGA — no software emulation, no battery, scores saved.

This board comes with FA·CONTROL, our Wi-Fi service tool. Open a web browser on your phone, tablet or laptop and test your machine part by part. No app to install, no extra hardware.

How it works

Power on the machine.
Connect your phone or laptop to the board over Wi-Fi. Once the board is on your home Wi-Fi, you'll find it at fa-control.local.
Open FA·CONTROL and pick a test. FA·CONTROL takes control of the board while you test, so nothing fires on its own. Release control and the game plays again.

Stand at the playfield with your phone in hand and test one part at a time, instead of going back and forth to the test buttons in the coin door.

FA·CONTROL is our version of the LISY pinball service tool. It runs on the Smart FA, the FPGA module we design, make and assemble ourselves, and on its ESP32 Wi-Fi chip, and it speaks the protocol of the open LISY project (lisy.dev). Available on the GottFA80_Plus (Light and Full) and the WillFA7: free, included with the board, and improved through free updates.
