Most modern machines include scenarios or missions triggered by specific sequences of shots. Hit a certain target three times in a row, for example, and you might start a multiball mode, where several balls are released at once and the scoring opportunities — and the chaos — multiply.
6. End of ball, end of game
If the ball slips between the flippers and reaches the bottom of the playfield, that ball is over. Modern machines often offer a "ball save" that returns a quickly drained ball under certain conditions. Once all your balls are played, the game ends and your final score is displayed.
