Installing the GottFA80 board couldn't be simpler. Built to fit the same connectors and mounting holes as the original Gottlieb System 80 MPU, swapping out your old board takes only a few minutes. Fine-tune your setup further with the DIP switch settings:

• S2-Dip1 → Freeplay. When set to "ON," the GottFA80 enables Freeplay mode. Holding the credit button for five seconds simulates inserting a coin.
• S2-Dip2 → NVRAM reset. When set to "ON," the GottFA80 resets NVRAM to zero on boot for the selected game. This is useful if you want to clear out all RAM contents (recommended on first boot).
• S2-Dip3 → Slam Open. When set to "ON," the Slam contact is simulated as "open" (required on newer 80B games).
• S2-Dip4 → Slam Closed. Most System 80 games require the Slam contact to be closed and won't boot if it's open. When set to "ON," the Slam contact is simulated as "closed" regardless of its actual state.
